Student bullying seems to be more in the spotlight today than ever, although it certainly isn’t a new phenomenon. What is new is cyberbullying: where an individual utilizes social networking sites, texting, etc, as a means of tearing someone down. The first instances of cyberbullying happened within the millenial generation; and we are already hearing how posting malicious videos and photos can result in the destruction of life. While the internet is providing new avenues of communication like never before, it is also providing an anonymous means of acting out one’s most nefarious desires.
